Stainless poppet valve ex-protection with reduced electrical actuation power

Stainless poppet valvea

The poppet valve cartridge with the designation SLYPM22 with its very low actuating power is now also available in a stainless version and can therefore also be used in a highly corrosive environment. The valve can switch volume flows up to 10 l/min at up to 350 bar with an electrical power of only 6 Watt. With the option of integrated electronics, a 4 Watt holding power can be achieved. The valve is controlled by a solenoid certified for use in explosion-hazard areas. In the K9 execution, the external parts of the valve are made of stainless steel and the solenoid coil is zinc-nickel coated. In the K10 execution, the solenoid is also made of stainless steel. The direct operated valve with the cavity thread diameter M22 according to ISO 7789 is available as a 3/2-way function with the designation SLYPM22- FG_K9/ K10. It is used wherever electrical power is limited. This may be due to the maximum available current or a limited capacity, e.g. of a battery in self-sufficient systems. It is suitable for applications where loads must be kept tightly seated in explosion-hazard areas or where actuator controls must function without leakage.
